Employment & Training
As part of the Workforce Investment Act (WIA), the Urban League of Flint
offers employment and training programs to assist individuals who are seeking
employment and/or skills to obtain better employment.
New relationships with local employers are identified to create and secure
jobs for clients.
Occupational Skills training creates success for
clients by providing tools and information necessary in a new employment
environment.
Assessments are performed to identify the current abilities and education
levels of the client that will assist in connecting applicants to the
appropriate position.
